What to do with Positive Feedback & Comments
As you build your business, you’re going to start getting more feedback and comments. Sometimes they’re going to be positive and sometimes they’ll be negative. While you do want to analyze the negative comments too, as they can give you clues to how to improve or make your sales copy more accurate, and provide insights to help you do better, the positive comments are going to help you with your marketing.
Save Them in a Folder
When you see comments out in the wild on blog posts, social media comments, and elsewhere, capture them by taking a screenshot. Then save them into a folder on your computer called positive comments. Name each screenshot accordingly, so you can easily tell what product they’re talking about so that you can use that information easy.
Create Memes from Them
A great way to use positive comments is to create an easy meme from the comment. In some cases, you may want to get a headshot from the commenter and then link back to their website if they’re also in business. That’s just a nice thing to do, but if they’re popular, it will also help you get more visitors because their audience will see the meme and want to find out what the person they follow is up to.
Write Blog Posts About a Comment
If someone who stands out writes a comment that makes you think of a good response, make it into a blog post. Then you can share that blog post with the world which will show the positive comment, plus a link to the person who made it, plus brings people back to your site to be able to get access to the product mentioned.
Add to Your Sales Pages
Any and all positive comments can be added to your sales pages as a type of testimonial area of the sales page. You can even add these comments spread out through the sales page to break up the page and add interest especially if you include it as a screenshot image so that it really stands out against the rest of the text on your site.
Thank the Person in Public
A really good use of positive comments gives you an excuse to call out people in public and thank them plus add more to the story. For example, a nice comment could lead to you telling your audience your background story so that they have more information about why you and your products are so amazing.
Reply to Comments on Social Media
When you see a positive comment, it’s important to always reply to it and thank the person for giving that comment. Not only will the person feel special for being noticed, but the more the comment is liked and commented on the more people will see it. The more people who see it, the more people who will come to your landing pages.
Using the positive comments and feedback from your audience to market your products and services will increase your sales exponentially. Mainly because using their words will mean that the information you provide is closer to what your ideal audience would say since they said it. Looking at all comments, good and bad, can serve you well. But the positive comments will give you a confidence boost and help you promote brand awareness at the same time.
